A joyful heart makes a cheerful face, but when the heart is sad, the spirit is broken. Proverbs 15:13

Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7

Monday- 1/25/10:

• Read Betsy's Guest from Boys and Girls of Colonial Days.
• Write out the two Bible verses.

Tuesday- 1/26/10:

• Study Bible verses.
• How did Betsy maintain a cheerful spirit despite her disappointment?

Wednesday-1/27/10:

• Study Bible verses.
• Betsy gave up something that was very precious to her. but she did so cheerfully. How was she rewarded?

Thursday-1/28/10:

• God wants us to give with a cheerful heart.  Brainstorm how you can give of your time, talents and treasure. Create a wordle of your ideas and share.
• Pray for the people of Haiti and others living in war, disease and poverty.  May we share our resources to help them during their time of need.

Friday-1/29/10:

• Say Bible verse(s) for a treat! Yummy!
