Week 19: 1/11/10-1/15/10
Sunday, January 10, 2010 at 1:22PM With the Advent and Christmas seasons over, we enter into the joyful time before Lent. This week, we will focus and what this time of year means to us and how we can prepare purselves for the upcoming Lenten season. In addition, we will continue with our character development lessons by focusing on patriotism this week.
Bible Verse: John 3:16
16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[a] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Monday: Study Bible verse; Read The Star Lady from The Boys and Girls of Colonial Days
Tuesday: Study Bible verse; rosary; create a wordle of the weekly Bible verse.
Wednesday: Study Bible verse; What do the colors on the American flag represent? Draw a pictorial explanation using an online program.
Thursday: Study Bible verse; What do you like about living in America? Discuss patriotism. Brainstorm on wallwisher and create a poster reflecting your ideas.
Friday: Recite John 3:16 for a treat.
