The possibilities are endless! I decided to give it a whirl this morning with our 3 year old. He is learning to read and I thought it would be fun to have him sort words containing "short a" vowel sounds. Here's a look at his finished project:

It gave him confidence and provided him with a different learning experience. I am excited about this new find and look forward to finding ways to enhancing our children's learning.

Below I have created a list of important words from the story. Use Webster's Word Central or Visuwords to help you identify the meaning. Then, create a visual dictionary using Google Docs. Don't forget that you will need to sign in using your gmail address.
