Fun Phonics with Word Magnets

Word Magnets is a great online tool to make learning fun.  The possibilities are endless!  I decided to give it a whirl this morning with our 3 year old.  He is learning to read and I thought it would be fun to have him sort  words containing "short a" vowel sounds.  Here's a look at his finished project:

Visit their website by clicking the link above to see a variety of activities that are possible for use with these cool tools.  Our little guy loved being able to do "big boy" work.  It gave him confidence and provided him with a different learning experience.  I am excited about this new find and look forward to finding ways to enhancing our children's learning.
