It's close to Thanksgiving and everyone is filled with the holiday spirit!  This week, everything we do will have a Thanksgiving twist.  Get ready for a fun-filled adventure!

Activity:

  • Grammar Scavenger Hunt: We have been studying nouns and verbs over the past couple of weeks.  Read through the story again and identify at least 10 of the following: common nouns, proper nouns, pronouns, action verbs and linking verbs.  Record your results on the worksheet or (.pdf file).
  • Below I have created a list of important words from the story.  Use Webster's Word Central or Visuwords to help you identify the meaning.  Then, create a visual dictionary using Google Docs.  Don't forget that you will need to sign in using your gmail address.
